The spring 2012 fashion runways were so colorful! They had many solid block bright colors, paired with other bight colors. 

Any specific colors?

Tangerine

There were many pops of "Tangerine" on the runway. Pantone named it "the color of spring 2012"

Kelly Green

Jo No Fui, Diane von Furstenberg and Akris Spring 2012 


This "Kelly Green" color is one of my favorites. There are not many times that we wear green, unless it's Saint Patrick day,  This color will look good on any skin tone, and I'm excited to add it to my wardrobe! 

This top is definitely for summer, it's a halter, and it wraps around to bring out your curves!

How Bright and fun are these J.Crew shorts? Oh, the outfits you could come up with, with these fun shorts....

Citron Yellow

This bright yellow is feminine and will get you noticed in a crowd right away.

These Chanel Ballet slippers might be out of our budgets, but they are adorable and flats are an easy way to brighten up  your look, just like a belt, without having to put much effort into your outfit!

 This heart ring is only 2$ from Forever 21, Accessories are a great way to achieve a color trend without having to spend much!

This sheer yellow top from "Nasty gal" is perfect, because it's sheer, which will keep you cool, and it would look great with some denim jeans or a skirt!

What I Wore Last night 

Mixing Patterns! 

Mixing together different patters can be fun! I went to a birthday party last night, and decided to mix my favorite gray polka dot top, from Zara, and my aztec print gray body con skirt, from Forever 21. You can mix basically any pattern you want, and they don't have to be the same colors! These two went together well because they were both gray! I decided to add a pop of color with a red scarf, and red bow heels, from Charlotte Russe. For accessories I wore a pearl bracelet from Forever 21, and you can't see my earrings, but they were simple diamond and pearl earrings from Zales. 

And yes I got my haircut finally! I love it, its a big change for me, because I have had long bangs since 8th grade.

Tips!

1.)If you have two different patterns, but the color is the same, I promise you they will look fabulous together! Just try it out and have fun with it.!

2.) Accent your patterns with a bold solid color scarf  to make your outfit fun and balanced! 

3.) Accessorize wisely! Add a bracelet, necklace or earrings, but don't over do it because it will take the attention away from the outfit!

4.) If you want to mix different colored patterns together, make sure sure you have a neutral color in both patterns. For example, you want to mix a green polka dot skirt with a black background, and a purple and black striped shirt. Since they both have black in them, you have play around with it and make it work!

Selena Gomez has transformed from a cute Disney channel star to  a beautiful women, and a big style icon. She has been in the spotlight a lot lately, branching away from Wizards of Waverly place to the big screen. She is one of my favorite celebrities when it comes to street style. She likes dressing up and always looks good! 

Her favorite color to wear is black! and who can blame her, black always looks good.

An easy way to get her look is to wear your favorite skinny jeans with some heels, which is something we see her wear a lot. 

The best thing about her style is that, her style is very accessible!

Gray skinny jeans, black shiny heels, a loose dress shirt blouse, and add a necklace. A great comfortable yet stylish look!  

Black skinny jeans, cute beige platform shoes, that matches the color of the beaded top, a perfect date night outfit!

                                 Denim skinny jeans, black knee high boots, white loop scarf, (or any white scarf that can be tied at the end and then looped around the neck)   and a fly away black long sleeve top or cardigan.

Favorite accessory at the moment..

 POLKA DOT SUNGLASSES 

I am in LOVE with my new sunglasses! They are black and white polka dot in the Ray ban shape. But don't worry they aren't 200$, They were only 5$ from Forever 21! They also had star patterned ones. I think these are so much fun and make an outfit look different and so cute and fun!

LEG WARMERS!

Leg warmers have been on my "to try"  list for a while now. I decided to go ahead and buy them! I think they're so cute and give an outfit some personality! I'm picky on how I wear my leg warmers though, I would only wear them with boot heels. You have to play around with your leg warmers, they can be tricky because they can easily look tacky.  I got mine from Wet seal for 7$!. And My knit sweater is from Forever 21 for 28$. My purse is Poppy Coach. 

Some tips:

1.) do NOT wear them with flip flops 

2.) Wearing them with flats may be tricky.

3.) Try wearing them inside of your boots such as Uggs, and have them peek out from the top. 

4.) They will always look good with heel booties! 

5.) make sure the color of your leggings and the color of your leg warmers compliment each other.

Lace Love

I love lace! It's so feminine and pretty. Lace can be sexy and cute, depends on how you wear it. I wore a baby pink long sleeve top from Forever 21, and my white leather jacket, which is also from Forever 21. I like black leather jackets, but everyone wears them! So I wanted to try something different, and I went for a white leather jacket. White leather will look very different with an outfit compared to a black leather jacket. It was only 25$! I love the detailing on the jacket, and I thought it was a bargain. This jacket reminds me of the outfit Rosie Huntington wore in Transformers 3! My black pants are from Agaci, and my gray leather boots are from Macy*s.
