something to try for a New Year party!

What I bought at LUSH

I had my first shopping experience at LUSH. I have been trying to get a chance to go to lush for a while now, but closest LUSH store in dallas is a 30 min drive for me. However while I was in NYC I passed by a LUSH store and went in. Not only was it small, but it was super packed! The employees were very nice and helpful, they actually cared to help you out with question.. 

What attracts me about LUSH- LUSH is a company that believes in making "effective products from fresh organic fruits and vegetables". They handmade them and use "little to no preservatives." And everything looks cute and smells nice!

I ended up buying these things.

1.) Seanik shampoo bar. 

The employee told me that this shampoo bar is for flat hair. My hair is straight and silky so it's very flat. These shampoo bars can be used for 80 washes! They have many other shampoo bars for all types of hair.

I also bough a shampoo bar holder, so it would be easier to store them in something, plus it was only 2$ !

2.)  Rose queen bath bomb 

This bath bomb attracted me because it was so cute and pink! But then I read that this bath bomb releases flower petals! That definitely made me want to buy it. The employee showed me how the bath bombs work and it looked like a lot of fun, instead of using the bottled bath bubbles and shower pearls that barley   fill up the tub unless you use the whole bottle! 

3) Cupcake face mask

I was very excited to purchase this mask! There were a few and I couldn't decide on which one to pick but this mask is for oily skin with some redness (which is what I have). It's suppose to shrink your pores also. 

Face mask

My favorite face mask at the moment, can be  made and works great for all skin types.It helps with exfoliation, tightening your pores, cleaning out the dirt trapped in your pores, and makes your face feel very soft!. My face felt very clean after I used it, and I fell in love!

What you need: 

   Honey.  You need a few tablespoons of honey. Honey helps with blackheads, and making your skin feel very soft. Also, honey will give your mask a thicker consistency.

Oatmeal. Any kind of oatmeal can be used. I use a packet of it. Oatmeal helps with the exfoliation, gives your face a glow, and helps with hydration. It can be used on all kinds of skin types. 

Egg Yolk.  I also mixed an egg yolk with my face mask. Egg yolk has a lot of protein, and helps with tightening your pores. 

what to do

Get a bowl, and mix the egg yolk with some honey. Then in a separate bowl, prepare your oatmeal by placing the oatmeal with some water in the microwave. After the oatmeal is mixed and somewhat "gooey" add it to the egg yolk and honey. The face mask will be warm, and apply it to your face for about 15-20 min. Wash off with warm water. I know you will love this mask!

There are many ways you can wear your blazer! You just have to play around with it and try different things! Just don't go wearing a blue blazer with an orange shirt and black pants and you'll be fine! 

Play up your blazer with different complementing prints! Such as.. I am wearing a polka dot top with a black blazer and black pants. This works because my blazer and pants are the same color, and since my shirt has two different colors, it can get tricky. 

Go casual with your blazer! You can wear your jeans and jeggings! 

Of course leggings look great with blazers! Many celebrities wear long shirts with a blazer and leggings! 

Use your favorite summer dress in the winter by wearing leggings and a blazer! Tt looks great!

Body cons are a great way to get curves! They look great with some leggings!

         For accessories, i kept it light since the pattern is bold and you don't want to take attention away from it, and my shirt has sequence on it already, I decided to wear a bubbly blue scarf when I went outside! I had a choice between pink/white or blue but I went with blue because Blue and pink remind me of candy! and it's a lot funner than matching pink with white... Boring! And for fun, I did my nails red and my ring finger the british flag for my love of England! <3

A Splash of Sparkle for the holidays!


Glitter and Sparkles are fun and girly to wear especially during the holidays!

Wearing something sparkly makes me feel like I stand out more, and makes me feel like i'm a kid again enjoying glitter, remember when we were all little kids and glitter was something that was a must in everything? It was so appealing and it shined! Something that sparkled made everything better. During the holiday season there area Christmas lights everywhere, around peoples houses, shops, trees, streets, and it makes me happy. So something perfect to wear during this month is definitely anything sparkly! 

So go on, look in your closet and Shine!
