Mixing Bold Patterns

1.) Mix patterns from the same color family

Using hues from one main color when mixing patterns can create a great look

2.) Look for patterns that complement each other 

You can go for a more dominant "big" pattern, such asa large floral and pairing it with small polka dots. Look for patterns that won't compete with each other.

3.) Accessories wisely 

Accessories can either overwhelm or balance an outfit, using a colored belt to break up two different patterned pieces can work really well, as can colored shoes, or a neutral purse. Just be careful to not over do it, because they can take away the focus of the outfit. 

4.) Create a balance

Pairing a large or medium pattern with a small pattern, Wearing two or more large patterns make the overall look too overwhelming. 

The best thing to do is look at your closet,and have fun experimenting! 

I paired a dress shirt with skinny stripes, (less bold pattern) with a aztec pattern body con skirt( bold pattern) I had fun putting this on! I wore black leggings and black shoes, so that I wouldn't take the attention away from the outfit. For outside I wore a dark gray coat, matching the skirt to create a balance!

HELLO KITTY FOR FOREVER 21

So this has got to be the best weekend ever! Not only did Hello kitty launch their line yesterday, Nov.18th, for forever 21 with super adorable pieces, So did Versace for H&M today! (nov 19) Look at Kylie and Kendal Jenner looking so cute in their hello kitty! Th e hello kitty line has sweaters, shirts, leggings, leg warmers, scarves, headbands and jewelry! I already bought the pink sequence top Kylie is wearing, and I will definitely be getting my hands on more! A simple top from Versace can cost up to 3000$, which is not something most of us can afford. However there is amazing news for us! Versace collaborated with H&M and I could not make it to the opening but I made my man promise to take me very soon!  (scroll down)

This is a cropped gray top with a big pink bow and would look adorable for layering!

I am getting this cute scarf on me next visit ! its very long and thick, it will keep you warm!

I really want to try these leg warmers Its going to be interesting to try to work these into my outfit!

I was going to buy these pink leggings when I went but they didn't have the full collection! Will get it next time, these leggings are so fun and cute!

FASHION TREND ALERT

glitter and sparkles

Sparkly and glittery accessories are in for the holiday season! It makes your outfit look feminine and adorable! According to E!, The latest fashion trend, is indeed sparkles and glitter! This is a trend you wear one at a time, For example.. An outfit with a sparkly belt, or a glitter clutch, maybe some glittery shoes? and accessories.   You can also have your nails glittery. 

Belts!

 Taylor swift wears an adorable white dress with a silver glitter skinny belt!


You can grab a cute glittery skinny belt from NY&co
Or Charlotte russe! A glitter belt can easily make you look up-to-date on the latest trends, and they're cheap!

                                                   

Shoes!

A glitter shoe is always fun! These cute ballet glitter slippers have a hint of glitter, and are not COVERED in glitter.

 And look at these Adorable shoes! You can wear sparkly pumps but these are so different and fun. They are unique,  and come in two different colors. You can get both shoes from  Charlotte russe.  

 Scarves 

These sparkle scarves are a steal! You can get them from Claire's for about 14$, They have a little sparkle to the fabric, so It won't be uncomfortable. I guess these scarves don't really have glitter or sparkles on them, but the fabric itself has somewhat of a shimmer.

Challenge: Leggings

 sparkly leggings?? How cool is that? This can be hard to pull of, however it's not impossible! These leggings are from Claire's and forever 21. I would pair these leggings with some high boots, any color that matches your top and, with a black scarf or a black sweater. So I would try to not wear a black top, because you want your leggings to stand out, but I would wear either a black cardigan or a black scarf/ boots so that they don't stand out too much and somewhat blend into the outfit. 

Easy: Nails




An easy way to get the glitter trend look, without having to spend a lot is by nail nail polish!Now I have sparkly nails right now, and I used the "follow me on glitter" form the kardashian kolors! Its a very glittery dark silver and I love it.
Forever 21 has a lot of glitter nail polish! And they are very affordable, you can get them for about 2$

Kardashian Kolor Opi

I finally got a chance to try the Kardashian Kolors! And I loved the one I got! I got the Follow me on glitter  one. The quality of the nail polish is amazing, dries super fast, and for the one I bought, I just needed one coat.  I loved all of the "kolors" but I just wanted to buy one for now, but I will be going back for more!. Follow me on glitter is a really pretty dark silver glittery nail polish, with some small multi color sparkles. 

And the reason why I think their nail polish is amazing, is because they gave each nail kolor a personality with cute names!
